Can't quite justify the drive to Iona with gas prices being what they are, but with someone(s) to share the cost... I'm planning a dark and early (as early as 4:30 AM) departure from Seattle, to avoid long weekend waits at the border, and hopefully leave enough time for Garganey, Boundary Bay shorebirding and, of course, a stop on the way back for a possible booby prize. Anyone willing to get up that early (I'll bring coffee) is welcome. My birding car gets great mileage, but has limited space (two large and two smallish people.) Please help me feel more economically responsible! Respond offline:
