This morning at Juanita Bay Park (10-ish) besides the 'regulars,' saw 3
Ruddy Ducks (1 male, 2 females) looking west from the Causeway towards the
open water (north of the piling stumps); an adult and older-juvenile
Virginia Rail couple near the West Walkway, the adult staying out in plain
view for 15 minutes or more; and 2 Soras--1 off the West Walkway inshore
viewing platform, and the other in the Beaver Pond area, again a "plain
view" event. First for me on the Soras, made my morning!
