I had to go to Portland yesterday but squeezed in a quick visit to West Point and the North Beach of Discovery Park with an eye out for the Horned Puffin, but like Michael I did not see one. Only about 50 RHINOCEROS AUKLETS and two confiding juvenile SURFBIRDS on the rocks at the lighthouse, which hung around four ten minutes, then flew off towards Bainbridge Island.
