Tweeters,
Very pleasant weather, cool in the morning (44.3deg F Saturday), and
breezy/warm in the afternoon in Roy, Wa. Black-headed Grosbeaks, and a
few Violet-green Swallows remain; Barn Swallows and Savannah Sparrows
plentiful; but most of the nesters, except for American Goldfinches and
some Cedar Waxwings, appear to be finished for this season. An imm.
Cooper's Hawk, female by size, came through the area on Sunday
afternoon, but wasn't successful in a couple of tries at the local
fledgling population.

Bird of the weekend: A Peregrine Falcon (possibly two) coursed high over
the wetland and headed southwest. This is the 90th spp recorded at the
property.

Two Turkey vultures flew from south to north on Sunday afternoon.
