While birding up Vantine Rd (east and north of Tenino) Monday morning I
heard several elk bugles off in the distance. Very cool! In June while
owling at Rimrock Reservoir (White Pass) a bull sounded off from within
household flashlight range. That will get your heart a-pumpin'!
