Subject: [Tweeters] Fence Lizards in Seattle

Frank Slavens (formerly the curator of reptiles at Woodland Park Zoo)
assured me there were Western Fence Lizards at Lincoln Park. I've never
heard of them being at Carkeek Park. Are the ones at Carkeek inhabiting an
area with a large accumulation of upper beach driftwood, perhaps with a
steep bank on the landward side? I found one at a park in the Federal Way
area. Where the heck was that? I think it was Normandy Park. Now, I'm going
to have to do some records searching. If only I had a fully functioning
memory.
