Tweets,
Phil Bartley let us know that a probable immature King Eider was identified
and seen twice in two days in Bothell by Gregory Green. Greg is a senior
wildlife biologist with extensive Alaska experience. According to Greg, the
way to look for it is that it flies up and down North Creek from Sammamish
Slough to North Creek Parkway near the offices at 12100 Northeast 195 St in
Bothell. The bird is dark, with a broad ring around its neck and chest, and
flies like a bullet. It has the distinctive sea duck shape.
