Hello, this is Penny Rose calling from Discovery Park and I'd like to
report a HORNED PUFFIN, which was feeding off the north beach at
Discovery Park this morning, August 12, from 7:30 to 9:45. The bird was
first observed by the Puget Sound Bird Observatory. The people who were
watching it were Don Norman, David Hutchinson, Gretchen Albrecht, Dan
Harvell, Julie Kessler, Tom Grant, Stephanie Forbes, and the bird was
identified by Scott Hoskin. The bird departed, flying due north up the
Sound, at exactly 9:45.

This is Doug Schoenwald. I'm at Perch Point on Potholes Reservoir. We
have a SNOWY EGRET here amongst a bunch of Great Egrets. Beautiful bird;
partial breeding plumage. That's it. Thanks.
