In 1947 a series of five Western Fence Lizards were collected at "1 mile south of Lincoln Park" and deposited in the collection at the University of Puget Sound. This location corresponds quite well with the steep slope overlooking Puget Sound in the Arroyo Heights area of West Seattle. Apparently there are stands of madrone on this slope. Sounds like a good place for lizard eggs to develop in the ground to me.

I was unable to identify any additional records on Vashon Island. There are records for quite a few south Puget Sound islands; Maury, Ketron, McNeil, Anderson, Fox, and Herron.
