Dennis,
The Sand Point area is still one of the most reliable for christmas count. Another just to the north is Richmond Beach Park.

Subject: [Tweeters] quail tales?
Netta just saw a male California Quail on the Burke-Gilman trail a bit north of where Sand Point Way turns into 45th St, and I realized I hadn't seen a quail in Seattle for quite some time. Of course I know this is in part because I leave Seattle to seek nature, and when I'm home I'm at this at #$%^& computer all the time. But I know the species can't take development to the max.
Where are people seeing this species within the Seattle city limits?
