Hey, Tweets-
My contribution to the discussion is from over thirty years ago, not 'less
than ten', but here ya go:
On Queen Anne Hill (1973, I think) I had a paper route on the south slope.
Twice I found, then caught and kept Northern Alligator Lizards. In each case
they were living on sunny, south-facing garden rockeries.
Also, in the early eighties, I was walking through Discovery Park not far
from the sand cliffs and noticed a lot of Garter Snakes crawling in the same
direction. I followed and found a massive mating ball with perhaps three big
females in the middle. I have no idea which GS species.
