Hello Tweets,

We have just updated our website with many new photos taken from our nice birding day yesterday including 15 photos of the adult SNOWY EGRET at the Nisqually NWR. This bird is very exquisite with it's full plumes sticking off it's back feathers,as well as on it's chest and crown too and aren't always visible. These photos were our best and closest to date of the 4 Snowy Egrets we have personally seen between the both of us from different locations in past years. Most of the photos are quite dark to show composition, etc. It was great having the bird so cooperative and almost tame, but the bird was very hungry it seemed since the feeding was so good. It would be nice if other birders will get to see it at this accessible location,if it continues! These 15 photos can be viewed from the following link: http://www.pbase.com/godwit/snowy_egret/

We have placed a few other photos taken yesterday including photos of the 3 Red Knots at Bottle Beach, which are of 2 adult birds and a juvenile bird. These photos can be accessed at the following link: http://www.pbase.com/godwit/recent_shorebirds

In addition we have posted 3 photos of a juvenile Green Heron taken while we were watching the Snowy Egret quietly at the Nisqually NWR. These photos can be accessed at the following link: http://www.pbase.com/godwit/recent_photos/

We hope some of you will enjoy our latest photos!

Sincerely,

Ruth and Patrick Sullivan
