Tweeters,

No, nothing rare to report.

I had another push of Western Tanagers at my place in Battle Ground this
morning. Counting birds heard flying overhead from about 4am onwards, I
estimated 100-125 total but that's probably an underestimate. I
recorded a similar movement last Sunday morning (Aug 20) and the
previous Sunday morning (Aug 13). Other species included multiple
Yellow, Black-throated Gray, and Orange-crowned Warblers (1 MacG on
8/13), quite a few Warbling Vireos, three Red Crossbills on August 20th
and a Winter Wren and Brown Creeper on August 13th. Has anybody else
seen/heard a noticeable migration on 8/13, 8/20, and 8/22?

Thanks and Get Out There for fall migration.
