Hal Opperman's post on this subject really ended the discusssion, did it not?... unless there's some illusion of a democracy which envisions that an outcry of the majority of list subscribers will result in a change to the Tweeters Guidelines. I don't think that's very likely. We all have a myriad of other interests in life but how many of them fall within the guidelines?

Hi Tweets-

I don't want to open a can of worms (or read about them here), but I agree with other posters that this forum is for birding. We all have a myriad of other interests in life, we're all nice people with curiosities, but the purpose of this site is to report and discuss birds. If there are a lot of people interested in herps or plants, please go forth and start another discussion list. I really don't want to have to weed (OK, another pun) through non-bird stuff on Tweeters.
