Subject: [Tweeters] List guidelines

Hi all,

I read through the guidelines and noted this:

"Attachments and formatted text. Please DO NOT send a message to the
list that has a formatted attachment, such as a graphic file or a
Word document. Also, send only PLAIN TEXT messages, not HTML.
Attachments, HTML, and special character sets display on many mailers
as gobbledygook (sometimes hundreds of lines of it) and cause major
problems for the digest messages."

Two questions that come up for me are

1. What is a good way to share photos for others to view? Practice
seems to be to post them to a website and then provide links. I don't
currently have any sort of photo sharing web setup. Is there an easy
way to do this?

2. As far as I can tell there is a mixture of plain and formatted
messages on the list. My email program even has an option to send
both plain and formatted at the same time. Should I be more careful
about sending only plain text or is the idea more to keep people from
going overboard with formatting?

Thanks, Mark
