Tweets,

Several of us did a "sea watch" from West Point between 7 and 11:30 AM in hopes of spotting another jaeger (after yesterday's Pomarines and Parasitics). No luck. Some Common Terns were barely visible across on Bainbridge Island and two Semipalmated Sanpipers were on the sand on the south beach as low tide approached. About 1 PM we located 4-5 HEERMANN'S GULLS at Richmond Beach at the county line just south of Point Wells, where they roost 100 yards north of the county line but occasionally fly south into King (four our county lists).

Gene Hunn.
