Tweets,
Today (saturday) at about 5:00 I saw a yellow-legged,
long-toed, long legged peep in with a group of Western
and Least Sandpipers. It was only slightly larger
than the least, and the plumage was very similar. But
the toes were VERY long, and the legs appeared a
little longer. Wing extension was not long.
The only thing I can come up with is a Long-toed Stint
!!!
It was too far away to photograph, and I lost it
shortly afterwards.
It was in the central part of Spencer Island, north of
the central East-west walkway/dike, west of the
bridge.
If someone is close, and hurries, they might even get
a chance to look for it tonight!!

Good Luck looking!! I may be back out there tomorrow
myself!

PS Other interesting sightings : Northern Pintails in
eclipse plumage, and a couple Buffleheads are back!
