And don't just go for the sale... Go because you like amazing
natural history books and are willing to pay someone for having them
around. I spoke with him in June and this basically happened because
people would check his prices and availability and then scrounge the
internet for anything cheaper. Or come in and peruse the books and
then go buy on the internet. Don't be that "cheap birder".

Sorry, that's a little off topic, but there are great bird books (As
well as gardening, academic, and local area books) to be had here and
I fully support buying them at a small independent bookstore with an
amazing selection.
