I checked the soccer fields this morning around 8am -- scads of Killdeers, Canada Geese, Eur. Starlings, and House Finches, but no sign of a longspur. More surprising to me was... no birders!
Further searches may of course be warranted. I saw Michael & crew yesterday, commented on what a slow day it was (but they saw quite a few birds I missed) and then I apparently walked right past the longspur.
Also, maybe it's a late riser and will be out more toward midday. Alas, I must be elsewhere.
