Greetings,

We have found a leader for the annual CBC on the Washington state ferry that
runs between Anacortes and Sidney, BC. A date has yet to be set but it will
be between December 14 and January 5. As soon as I have the date, I will
contact all interested parties.

This count is unique in that you will be counting from a moving 'platform'
and you're likely to see different birds than you would on the landlocked
counts. Seabird experience is a plus but not a requirement. The North Cascades
Audubon Society will reimburse the ferry fees for up to 8 counters. Save your
receipts!
