you can add the park household forest to the "hey, i've seen a varied thrush
this autumn" list. a bright and beautiful female flew through, stopping in
a boundary deciduous before continuing on to wherever she was headed. i can
hope to see more as the seasons progress, and with luck, camera in hand and
ready...

time to dress for the weather and camp out on the porch to see who comes
along for their seasonal photo ;)
