This is the Lower Columbia Basin Audubon Society Bird Alert for December 1,
2006. For the past 11 years, this line has functioned as a place to report
local bird sightings and to ask questions. The cost of maintaining this
service has become prohibitive as there are other options for doing this.
The web site for Lower Columbia Basin Audubon is at
http://lowercolumbiabasinaudubon.org/ There is a page for contact
information there. Feel free to contact people with your questions.

On the web page there will be a place to click for a summary of recent
sightings. From there you will also have access to the discussion group
LCBirds. People are posting sightings of the birds seen in the Lower
Columbia Basin and it is a place to inquire about any other birding topics.
You can read postings without being a member of the list. To ask questions,
view photos, or post sightings you must join this free service. Use your
Yahoo ID or create one and log in. Click on "Join This Group" and follow
the prompts.

While this line is still operational, feel free to leave a message. Service
will be discontinued some time in January, 2007.
