Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday November 7. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls

On December 1 two LAWRENCE?S GOLDFINCHES were seen at Valley of the Rogue
State Park south of Grants Pass. They could not be relocated. The FALCATED
DUCK continues to be seen at the Coburg RV Park.

On December 4 a SAY?S PHOEBE was at Brookings. Another was on the North Spit
of Coos Bay the next day. Three LONG-TAILED DUCKS were at Coos Bay December
5. A gray phased GYRFALCON was at the South Jetty of the Siuslaw River
November 30. A male BULLOCK?S ORIOLE was reported December 1 from Baker
Beach, north of Florence. On December 3 a GRAY-CROWNED ROSY-FINCH was near
Yachats. A SNOWY OWL is now being seen at the South Jetty of Yaquina Bay. A
BURROWING OWL is now being seen at the Les Schwab store on SW 10th in
mid-town Newport. On December 3 a ROCK SANDPIPER was at Depoe Bay. Two ROCK
SANDPIPERS were on Barview Jetty at Tillamook Bay December 5. On December 3
two GRAY-CROWNED ROSY-FINCHES were in Seaside.

The female LONG-TAILED DUCK continues to be seen at the Washougal, WA Sewage
Ponds. On December 4 a CLIFF SWALLOW was in Scappoose Bottoms. A male SURF
SCOTER was at Smith/Bybee Lakes in North Portland December 3. A couple of
PINE GROSBEAKS continue to be seen about Pittock Mansion in NW Portland. A
MOCKINGBIRD was reported December 3 at the Sandy River Delta. On December 1
at least four REDPOLLS were near McMinnville along Old Sheridan Road. A
VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOW and a BARN SWALLOW were over the Eugene Sewage Ponds
November 29. On November 30 a LONG-TAILED DUCK was at Lost Creek Reservoir
on the Rogue River.

On December 3 a female WILLIAMSON?S SAPSUCKER was at the Spring Creek Fish
Hatchery near Stevenson, WA. A LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE was near Powell Butte
December 2. A SURF SCOTER was on Mirror Pond in Bend November 30. On
December 3, 25 LAPLAND LONGSPURS were at Lower Klamath NWR.
