A big thanks to Ruth and Patrick Sullivan for finding an American Dipper in Grays Harbor County yesterday! It is definitely a difficult bird to find in the county. I drove out to the bridge on S. Union Rd. this morning and found two American Dippers there. They were on the north side of the bridge.

Also, this morning, at the Satsop Development Park (old nuke site) mitigation pond on Utility Lane, I found an adult male Cinnamon Teal amidst the hundreds of ducks there. I also thought I saw a male Eurasian Wigeon there, but I quickly lost it and wasn't convinced that it was a pure Eurasian. If you want to see ducks, this pond is the place!
