Many thanks to Wayne for posting about the King Eider. I just wanted to add some info on where we saw it. It was in the same place as Friday right next to the floating wooden docks. It was inside the spit next to the southernmost docks (outside the docks) . This is the end away from the the boats there. It offered great looks staying very close to shore. It seemed to be just as happy pulling food off the docks with the wigeon as staying with the nearby scoters and scaup. So if you do not see it look closely all around the base of the docks as we missed it at first today. We made a run for the Snohomish emperor goose and found it easily where it had been previously reported. Thanks to all for the clear directions, what a beautiful bird!
