I don't know if this is noteworthy or not, but I saw a very light colored Red-tailed Hawk at Wallace Swamp Creek Park today.
she ( I think ) had a very light colored breast and the belly band was very indistinct. I first saw her at the bottom of the hill where the paved trail meets 68th Ave NE ( Kenmore). Later , crows directed my attention to a Red-tailed in a Cotttonwood on the down stream side of the bridge over Swamp Creek on 73rd Ave NE, this one was too far away and my binoculars were too wet to get a look at it.
