Greetings All

Jessie Barry, Charlie Wright, and I had the KING EIDER pretty much at sunrise
this morning. Thanks for the great directions posted to Tweeters.

There were also a ton of close up WW Scoters, scaup, pintail, etc visible on
the inside or outside of this spit. The usual wonderful Semiahmoo experience.

Also of interest was a total of 32 EARED GREBES in the vicinity.
Birch Bay was packed with birds, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Lake Terrell WMA was great. As you are driving in, pull into the first
parking lot (will need a WMA pkg sticker/decal). We walked down the path to the last
fields, and in the field on the left had a RED FOX SPARROW and a bird that
was probably an altivagans FOX SPARROW (both posed for reasonable photos). Also,
a very nice brightly spotted female SPOTTED TOWHEE that was from somewhere
east of the Cascades.

In Lummi Bay (need permit to access), had 40 thousand plus N Pintail and 14
SNOW BUNTINGS.

Cheers
