Subject: [Tweeters] White Faced Junco: What is it?

I just moved to Edmonds from the East Coast and am enjoying the common birds here that are not in the East: Dark-eyed Junco, Spotted Towhee, and Stellers Jay. Saturday and Sunday a "white-faced" Junco showed up at my feeder. It has a white eye-ring and white on the forehead and chin. The white has uneven borders. I have never seen anything like this. What is going on: is this a genetic problem, a disease or what? I need to be educated.
