Hello All,
On 10 Dec. Brook Davie e-mailed Ginger Shoemake about a possible Band-tailed
Pigeon eating crab apples in her front yard. This morning Rodger and Ginger
and Merrylynn and I went to the corner of Bradley and Leonard Streets and
after about 30 min. of looking around this large pigeon flew in and lit atop
a tree. It is indeed an adult Band-tailed Pigeon. This is exciting as this
is only the second Walla Walla Co. record with the first being located along
Coppei Creek May 1980 by Bill Hayes and Pam Rasmussen. Today we were able to
get a good number of photos.
Later Mike
