The King Eider in Blaine was seen again today by myself and Susan Rothstein, along with representatives from Tacoma and Renton. It is still in the vicinity of the southernmost floats of the Semiahmoo Marina -- these are the first floats you come to when driving out Semiahmoo Spit. The eider was mostly resting and preening on one of the floats not far from shore, although it did move about for a few seconds to provide us with good views. A scope is useful for positive ID.
