Today, I and several other birders spent the afternoon looking for the
Point No Point Long-billed Murrelet. The bird was seen briefly from the
lighthouse at about 2 pm by Roger Foxall, from British Columbia, but
couldn't be relocated. Then, at 3:30, Roger saw it again from the same
spot, and, after much rushing about and yelling, two more of us were
able to get on the bird. Once again, the view was brief, but we were
able to see the important field marks.

I gather that Charlie Wright did post an update on this bird on Monday,
but, for some reason, this post did not get to all Tweeters subscribers
and I never saw it. I apologize for my rather testy comment about lack
of updates.
