Hi,
I kept waiting on someone to mention Band-Tails eating Safflower, but no one has, so I am. They do like it, and I have had it in the past for them. Unfortunately they bring friends, so the feeding was shortlived. If in a feeder easy for them to access, they will enjoy it. But then they stick around and eat everything else in sight! I used to sell 50# bags to a couple of customers just for the Band-Tails, and they were always special order seeds.
