Greetings All

A number of us gathered for an all day vigil at Pt No Pt.
Despite large numbers of murrelets, and excellent viewing conditions, no
Long-billed Murrelet was seen.

An alternate plumaged Thick-billed Murre was seen from the lighthouse near
mid-day, however, as an excellent consolation prize. This bird first flew past,
and then was later refound on the water, seen for about 15 minutes.

There was also a Red Phalarope at sunset swimming among murrelets at the
Hansonville (or is it Hanson?) store.

And a Clark's Grebe shortly after sunrise at the lighthouse.

Good Birding
