The weather for the count was decent but many of the teams were hampered by
fallen trees on roads and downed power lines. Unofficially it looks like we
came in at 120 species and 22,200 individuals. Nothing of any rarity turned
up.
Many, many thanks to Jan and Julie who led off-island teams. Special
kudos to the local counters most of whom were headed to cold, dark houses at
the end of the count. I?ll need a couple of days to crunch the numbers and
then report back here on Tweeterland.
