Hello All,

Three people (George Exum, John Green, & Margaret Green), while
participating in the Willapa Hills Audubon Society's Leadbetter Point CBC,
on 12/16/06 (at 1200 & at 1500 hrs), found nine (9) Pine Grosbeaks, an
addition to our all-time cumulative CBC list, and, to my knowledge, an
addition to the Pacific county list.

These birds were subsequently found by two more observers (Alan Richards &
Ann Musche') on 12/17/06, at 0800 to 0815 and at 1600 to 1615.

They were located 0.1 miles W of US 101, near milepost 34, on Lynn Point
Rd. There is a small turnout near two large Western Red cedar trees, on
the right (northern) side of Lynn Point Rd., which allow one vehicle to
park. These birds were found in this general area, within a quarter mile
or so of these two large trees (before reaching a yellow diamond warning
sign, "no shoulder").

Identfiable photos were taken.
