Tweets--
At 9:00 this morning the palm warbler flew in from the west and landed
on the fence in front of the boat house at the mouth of the Cedar
River. It flew, hopped, and tail-wagged its way east along the front of
the boat house, searching along the fence, around the Coke machine, and
under the green metal benches for several minutes. It eventually flew
south, probably into the rocks, grass, and blackberries on Boeing
property. A gift to have this lovely bird materialize 10 feet in front
of me as my time to look for it was ending.
