Commission to consider adding
land to Skagit Wildlife Area

OLYMPIA - The Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission will consider adding
nearly 45 acres to the Skagit Wildlife Area during a Dec. 28 special
meeting.

The commission, which sets policy for the Washington Department of Fish and
Wildlife (WDFW), will discuss the proposed land transaction during a
conference call scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. The land is located on South
Padilla Bay in Skagit County.

The public may comment or listen to the discussion in the Commission Office
at WDFW headquarters on the fifth floor of the Natural Resources Building,
1111 Washington Street SE, Olympia. For more information, contact the
