To amplify Diann's report, Randy Hill (WOS President) also called me and said that they originally located the King Eider at the floating dock (SE end) earlier and at noon the bird was on the SE end of the dock (on the inside) and also in the water.

They wanted folks to know that the bird is still around, and in the location where it has been seen at Semiahmoo Spit (DeLorme p. 108, A2; ABA Guide p. 140-141).
