Greetings All
As others have reported, the Black-headed Gull was seen very nicely this
morning before the major rain hit. I spent 45 minutes birding from the
chimney-like structure on the shore, then walked out to the end of the dock.
While chatting with one of the workers there, the gull flew out from behind
the building and spent the next 20 minutes showing off 30-50 meters from me.

I managed to get some rather nice digiscoped photos off, which can be seen
at the following link: http://flickr.com/photos/potoo/

Also, I had a Clark's Grebe from the Seattle-Winslow Ferry, on the Seattle
side, and a Rock Sandpiper was on Blakely Rocks with some Black Turnstones
(thanks to Brad for the tip on this spot, though a very distant view from
shore).
