Several of us were treated to excellent, close-up views of the
Bainbridge Island Black-headed Gull today. It took awhile to show up,
but we finally spotted it flying back and forth in front of the fish
pens. It soon joined a small flock of Bonaparte's and Mew Gulls just
off the end of the dock.

Permission to walk out onto the dock to look for the gull was given
freely by the people working there. They seem fairly amused by the
whole business.
