Hi
Barb and I birded along Marine Drive north of Marysville and through the fields and access areas between Conway and LaConner on 12/22/06. The weather was great - cold, clear and dry. Many of the surounding mountains to the east were snow covered and visible.
At Kyak Point County Park we saw
10 Barrow's Goldeneyes
2 Western Grebes
1 Horned Grebe
Between LaConner and Conway we saw
2 huge flocks of Snow Geese
1 large flock and numerous other Trumpeter Swans
3 Great Blue Herons
10 mallards
1 large flock of Western Sandpipers
3 immature Bald Eagles
2 Doves
1 Stellars jay
2 Gyrfalcons - North Access Area - Fir Island - a life List Bird for us
Regards
