Tweeters birders,
Greetings and Happy Holidays from South Carolina,
one of the strongholds of winter Orange-crowneds.
Your photo looks like an Orange-crowned to me,

Subject: [Tweeters] Orange-crowned warbler? in Olympia
Hello all,
I believe an Orange-crowned Warbler at our place in Olympia today, the first
we've seen here. I would appreciate if someone could confirm the species
from the photo at www.cascadiaresearch.org/robin/birdphotos.htm
Otherwise today the usual assortment of juncos, Downy and Hairy Woodpeckers,
Steller's Jays, Northern Flickers, Black-capped and Chestnut-backed
Chickadees, towhees, Song and Golden-crowned Sparrows.
