Vicki and TWEETERS,
There were three RED-SHOULDERED HAWKS seen at during the Sauvie
Island CBC. Two of these birds have been in a closed area (the Roth Unit)
for several months and the third is usually in the Oregon Ash woodlands
just after the Kiwa Trail on the River "S" Unit. This same section of
woods has had up to three SWAMP SPARROWS and a female RUSTY BLACKBIRD in
the last couple of weeks. We also counted a BRANT, six WHITE-TAILED KITES
and a count week PRAIRIE FALCON along with the usual thousand + TUNDRA
SWANS and nearly a thousand SANDHILL CRANES. Good luck and have a nice
