Thursday, 12-14, 12:51AM. This is Rachel Lawson, Birdbox System
Administrator, with an update on the LONG-BILLED MURRELET that has been
present at Point No Point at the northern tip of the Kitsap Peninsula since
the
weeekend. Today the bird was seen from the area right in front of the
lighthouse. It has also been seen from the Hansville Grocery at the end of
the Hansville Road and from the trailer park along Point No Point Road in
brtween the Grocery and the Point. The bird can be very difficult to see and
views are often very brief. That's it, good birding!

Thursday, 12-14, 1:02AM. This is Rachel Lawson, Birdbox System
Administrator, with an update on some birds of note. The PALM WARBLER
was seen again today December 13th at the mouth of the Cedar River in
Renton. The KING EIDER in Blaine was seen again today on the south
side of the Semihmoo Marina in the vicinity of the first floats that you
come
to on driving out Semihmoo Spit. The EMPEROR GOOSE south of
Snohomish has not been seen for a couple of days.Directions to this bird
are in the last message. That's it. Good Birding!

Thursday, 12-14, 7:30PM. This is Tom Aversa, calling on Thursday night.
Today the KING EIDER was still up at Semihmoo in Whatcom County right
near the floats, the piers. It was sticking close to the piers near sunrise.
Also there was a first year GLAUCOUS GULL along the shoredrive part of that
area and a WHITE-THROATED SPARROW at Lake Terrell. Thanks.

Friday, 12-15, 9:58AM. This is Rachel Lawson, Birdbox System Administretor,
with an update on the LONG-BILLED MURRELET at Point No Point. Vic Nelson
reports that it was back again yesterday, Thursday. The directions to this
bird
are in one of the preceding messages. That's it, Good birding!

12-17, 2:01PM. Hello, this is Brad Wagonner, (206) 384-6921. At 1 o'clock
this afternoon, Vic Nelson called me to report a potential EYE-BROWED
THRUSH at Point No Point going to the holly tree near the lighthouse itself.
Just seen again at 2 o'clock. It is very likely an EYE-BROWED THRUSH at
this point but not absolutely sure. I did get brief looks at it, I am now
returning
back to Bainbridge Island but just be aware that there is a potential
EYE-BROWED
tHRUSH at Point No Point.Good luck and good birding!
