I have seen two deer mice this week that were looking in sad shape. Both
were at the Bob Heirman Park, one ran across the roadway then stopped on the
side in the snow/grass. He just hunkered down and closed his eyes. His
running looked very odd, like he could not keep his balance well.
The second was down in the flats area at the park, mouse looked same as
first. Not sure what this means -- cold got them, or illness.
