Hello All:
I birded Sunday morning in the Kent area. Those flooded fields that were not
being actively hunted (mostly the area of Smith Brothers on the west side of
West Valley Hwy, north of 277th) were simply full of birds. Present at that
spot were 2500 Northern Pintail, with much smaller numbers of other
dabblers. There were 6 Trumpeter Swans (2 ad., 4 juv) and an ad. Tundra
Swan. Also in the vast mud were at least 1000 Dunlin-- far and away more
than I've ever seen in the valley.

At 287th Street were about 60 Lincoln's Sparrows just along the road. Over
100 were found in this area on the CBC. I was not able to find a Gyrfalcon.

At 204th Street (just north of 212th), I found a flock of 600 Green-winged
Teal, including 2 intergrades and 1 Common Teal.
