Yesterdays observations on the Quimper Peninsule between the hours of 1300-1400 were: Mallard Duck 5, Ring-necked Duck 5, Northern Pintail 13, Green-winged Teal 7, Bufflehead 14, American Crow 17, American Robin 18, Great Blue Heron 6, Varied Thrush 2 and Dark-eyed Junco 22 .

Beckett Point looking out towards the west between 1430-1530 east wind 5-10 mph temp. 43? Bufflehead 6, Western Grebe 6, Double-creasted Cormorant 13, Horned Grebe 7, Pacific Loon 2, Common Murre 10, Pigeon Guillemot 8, Red-breasted Merganser 21, Glaucous-winged Gull 7, Thayer?s Gull 2 and Bald Eagle 2.

Looking on the west point of Protection Island there was 40+ Harbor Seals on the beach. In the pond on the inside of Beckett Point there were 10 Green-winged Teal and 2 Mallard Ducks.

All the Golden-crowned Kinglets on my place have gone somewhere. One morning I saw 40+ on the road to the back field which is about 100 yd. lone, almost stepping on them there were so many.
