Sandy Cohen, Richard Streuve, Kate Tillotson and I had a great owl day north of the border at Reifle Wildlife Refuge in Ladner B.C. by seeing 1 Long-eared Owl, 1 Barn Owl, and 1 Saw-whet Owl. At 72nd St. in Boundary Bay we had 1 Snowy Owl, and at Brunswick Point we finished up with a probable Short-eared Owl seen poorly due to fading light conditions.
Also of note was an immature Northern Goshawk at Reifle and 2 Eurasian Collared Doves seen at a feeder near the end of 88th St.in Boundary Bay.
