Subject: [Tweeters] Black Phoebe - no,

Yesterday afternoon (3:30pm-ish), I went looking for the Black Phoebe and Bewick's Swan that have been reported by Ruth and Patrick Sullivan. We arrived at the site for the Black Phoebe and observed a Red-breasted Sapsucker working one of the trees. No phoebe was seen during my time spent on the private property. It actually was pretty quiet for birds.

Next, I moved onto Dunlap Rd. which continues to be flooded near the end of the road. I must have just missed Kristin Stewart and the swan by a few minutes because I only saw a group of about 35 Trumpeter Swans near the beginning of Dunlap Rd.. The hunters had their blind up near the bridge so that was most likely the cause of the lack of waterfowl at that location.

I will try again soon! Happy New Year to everyone!
