The WHOOPER
SWAN and EMPEROR GOOSE continue in the field west of SR 9 about 1/2 mile south of Marsh Road south of
the town of Snohomish . Both birds were in a group of TRUMPETER SWANS and GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE and CANADS GEESE. Although views were distant, the sunny day allowed for good looks through scopes.

Many birders stopped to enjoy the birds and the nice weather.
Prior to looking for the Swan I stopped on Elliot road and saw a nice collection of ducks including dozens of CANVASBACK, N PINTAIL, GW TEAL, N SHOVELER, RING-NECKED DUCKS, AMERICAN WIDGEON, MALLARD, TRUMPETER SWANS, DC CORMORANT, one PIED-BILLED GREBE and a pair of BALD EAGLES. There were also some nice decoys. ;) Mason FlintSnoqualmie, WA
